Welcome and thank you for reading the New Jersey Family Law Blog.
As a family law practitioner and an attorney who’s practice is primarily litigation, I care deeply about the experience that litigants have when they deal with divorce/separation/custody and other family law related problems. Regardless of whether that person is my client or not, my goal is to further knowledge and understanding of a complex and important area of the law so that everyone who goes through a family law issue has the most positive experience as is possible moving through the Court system, dealing with their attorneys, and resolving their issues.
With that in mind, I will be writing this blog to share my thoughts on various family law and divorce issues, developments in the law (both legislative changes and Supreme Court and Appellate Decisions), issues within the family law community, and substantive legal issues. I will also give my perspective for non-lawyers looking for information about family law in general and in working with or selecting an attorney if they need assistance. To a lesser degree, I will also blog on other areas of the law in which I practice.
I hope that both my fellow lawyers and members of the public will find this blog informative and helpful. However, this blog is for general information purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Any non-lawyer dealing with a legal issue should consult with a knowledgeable attorney to determine how applicable laws apply to specific facts and situations. If any reader has a question, please contact me directly and I will be happy to discuss with you.
